Presentation

My name is Lars K. Christensen.

I am a historian, who works as curator and senior researcher at ROMU – a regional museum of cultural history, centred around the historic town of Roskilde, Denmark.

The museum deals with a vide range of topics, from the first Neandertal settlements to contemporary youth culture. Its exhibitions are spread over several exiting locations, including Roskilde Museum, Lejre Museum, Færgegården in Frederikssund and Ragnarock, the national museum of pop and rock.

In my own research, I have over time mainly dealt with the history of working life, the labor movement and industrial heritage. Topics that I have written about, made exhibitions about and talked about on radio and on TV.
